He was 25 when he first married. His occupation was contractor.6

Lindamood - Pedneau

The Lindamood - Pedneau wedding was solemnized last Thursday, June 30th, at 3 o'clock, Father Wakeham, rector of St. Joseph's Seminary, Yonkers, N.Y., officiating. The contracting parties were Mr. Robert Lindamood, son of Mr. R. E. Lindamood, of Headquarters, Va., and Miss Mary Margaret Pedneau, the accomplished and eldest daughter of Mr. T. L. Pedneau.

The bride wore white silk organdy over white taffeta and a handsome white picture hat, white plume, and carried a goldbound prayer-book. Her traveling suit was a handsome Persian trimmed tailor-made gray cloth, with hat to match.

The maid of honor, Miss Ursula Pedneau, sister of the bride, wore white organdy, trimmed in Valenciennes lace, with satin ribbon.

Miss Stella Lindamood, sister of the groom, second maid of honor, was likewise attired.

The best man and groomsman were Mr Arthur Austin Murray and Mr. Milton Travel. Master William Pedneau, accompanied by his grandfather, the venerable Mr Wakeham, looked like a real little prince as he gracefully carried the wedding ring.

Miss Belew played Mendelssohn's wedding march, while the ceremony was impressively said, which pronounced them man and wife.

The parlor decorations were crimson carnations and white lilies, with simflax and ferns. The large bow window was a bower of beauty, from which suspended the portrait of the bride's sainted mother, to whom she bears a most striking resemblance. The affair was a quiet and informal one, only the relatives and immediate friends being present, and also the Rev. Brother Alfred Wakeham, of Clayton, Delaware, was present. Many useful and handsome presents were in evidence. Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Lindamood took the north bound train for Washington, Deleware, amidst a shower of rice from the throng of friends at the station to see them off

A reception followed and a dance was held at Headquarters, the future home of the bride and groom, on their return Saturday, the second. -- Edinburg Sentinel.
7 Polybius Elon Lindamood and François Louis [2] Pedneau also appeared in a news article at Richmond Times-Dispatch, Richmond, Virginia, on 6 July 1904 with Mary Marguerite Pedneau and Robert Lee Lindamood about their wedding.7

Polybius Elon Lindamood appeared in the 1910 census as the head of household on 3 May 1910 at Davis, Shenandoah County, Virginia. Also living in the house was his wife, Emma C Tisinger Lindamood. He was listed as Polybius E. Lindamood, age 57, born in Virginia, married once. He was 33 when he first married. His occupation was dealer in lumber.8

Polybius Elon Lindamood appeared in the 1930 census as the head of household on 8 April 1930 at Edinburgh, Shenandoah County, Virginia. Also living in the house was his wife, Lulu E Baker, his daughter, Dorothy E Lindamood. He was listed as P. E. Lindamood, age 76, married 21 years, born in Virginia. His occupation was carpenter.9

On 8 April 1930, Polybius Elon Lindamood appeared in the 1930 census as a neighbor of George H Tisinger at Edinburgh, Shenandoah County, Virginia. He was listed as P E Lindamood; George H Tysinger, age 69, married, born in Virginia. He owned his home. He was 34 when he first married. his occupation was farmer, general farming.10

Polybius Elon Lindamood died on 21 November 1933 at age 79.3 He was buried after 21 November 1933 in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hamburg, Shenandoah County, Virginia.3

His wife, Lulu E Baker Lindamood, was buried in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hamburg, Shenandoah County, Virginia.

Louis Albert Perry was listed as a neighbor. She was listed as Margaret Tench, age 41, widowed, born in Virginia. Her occupation was laundress in a Towel Company.3

On 14 January 1920, Marguerite-Justine Bourgeois and Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois appeared in the 1920 census as a neighbor of Louis Albert Perry Louis Albert Perry in 892 Hillside Aveneu, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut; Luois A. Perry, age 39, married, born in New Hampshire. His occupation is manager of a store.4

She was 18 when she first married. She rented her house for $41 a month. Her occupation was Ironer for a Laundry.6

Louise Adélaïde Bourgeois and Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois appeared in the 1900 census as a daughter of Adélard Joseph Bourgeois in Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts, on 12 June 1900. She was listed as Philimena Bourgeous, age 15, single, born Oct 1884 in Virginia. Her occupation was trimmer in a cotton mill; Joseph Bourgeois, age 47, born July 1853 in French Canada. Married 27 years. His occupation was bookkeeper.1

Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois married Percy Hubert Parker on 7 August 1908 at Norfolk, Virginia. She was 23 at the time. Her married name was Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois Parker.

When she was 31, her husband, Percy Hubert Parker, died on 20 November 1915 at Stony Creek, Sussex County, Virginia, at age 32. Philomena Parker, his wife, was listed as widowed in the 1920 census.

Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois appeared in the 1920 census as a sister of Marguerite-Justine Bourgeois on 6 January 1920 in 8 Jak Street, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. She was listed as Philomena Parker, age 34, widowed, born in Virginia. Her occupation was inspector for a typewriter company; Margaret Tench, age 41, widowed, born in Virginia. Her occupation was laundress in a Towel Company.2

On 14 January 1920, Marguerite-Justine Bourgeois and Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois appeared in the 1920 census as a neighbor of Louis Albert Perry Louis Albert Perry in 892 Hillside Aveneu, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut; Luois A. Perry, age 39, married, born in New Hampshire. His occupation is manager of a store.3

Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois appeared in the 1930 census as the head of household on 2 April 1930 at 169 Drake Street, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. Also living in the house was, her son, Leonard A Parker, her daughter, Mary Justine Parker, her brother, Joseph Francis Bourgeois. Marguerite-Justine Bourgeois was listed as a neighbor. She was listed as Philomena Parker, age , widowed, born in Virginia. Her occupation was inspector for Type Company. She rented her home for $22 a month.4

Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois died.

Percy Hubert Parker was born on 14 February 1883 at Hartford County, North Carolina.

Percy Hubert Parker married Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois, daughter of Adélard Joseph Bourgeois and Adelaide Pedneau, on 7 August 1908 at Norfolk, Virginia. He was 25 at the time.

Percy Hubert Parker died on 20 November 1915 at Stony Creek, Sussex County, Virginia, at age 32. Philomena Parker, his wife, was listed as widowed in the 1920 census. Percy was survived by his wife, Philomena-Victoria Bourgeois.

Alice Louise Chappell Poole's obituary read:
Poole - Alice Chappell Poole, "Granny", 98, widow of Arthur R. Poole, Sr., died Saturday, January 20, 2007. Survivors include one son, A.R. ""Billy" Poole, Jr, and wife Betty; one daughter, Alice Faye Chappell and husband, Gene; five grandchildren, Beverly Morris, and husband Eddie, Lisa Gettier, and husband Stacy, Carolyn Poole Messier, Paula Seward and husband, David; five great-grandchildren and her beloved pet dog, P.D. Mrs. Poole was preceded in death by one daughter, Frances Poole Purdy and a grandson, Robert Poole. The funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Concord United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will meet friends at a reception in the church social hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Poole's memory to Concord United Methodist Church
