Mary Frances Archer was born on 7 June 1817 at Norfolk, Virginia.1 She was the daughter of Dr Robert Archer and Frances Williamson.

Mary Frances Archer married Frederick Deane Goodwin, son of Daniel Goodwin and Polly Briggs, on 25 October 1837 at Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. She was 20 at the time.2 Her married name was Mary Frances Archer Goodwin.2

Mary Frances Archer appeared in the 1840 Census in 1840 as a household member living with Frederick Deane Goodwin at Staunton, Virginia. The official date for this census was 01 June 1840. She was probably the female whose age was at least 20 and under 30.3

Mary Frances Archer Goodwin, Mary Francis Archer Goodwin, Frederick L B Goodwin, John Frank Goodwin, Mary B Goodwin and Sarah Anderson Goodwin appeared in the 1850 census on 25 September 1850 as a household member living with Frederick Deane Goodwin at Nelson County, Virginia. When she was 63, her husband, Frederick Deane Goodwin, died on 26 March 1881 at Wytheville, Wythe County, Virginia, at age 77.11

Mary Frances Archer appeared in the 1900 census as the head of household on 4 June 1900 at Wytheville, Wythe County, Virginia. Also living in the house was, her daughter, Ella Rosa Goodwin and Sallie A Talman, her grandson, L. B. Goodwin and Frederick D Goodwin, a visitor, H L B Talman. She was listed as Mary Goodwin, born June 1817, age 82, widowed, born in Virginia. Her father was born in North Carolina and her mother, in Virginia. She had had 9 children, with 8 still living.12

Mary Frances Archer Goodwin died on 9 December 1900 at Wytheville, Wythe County, Virginia, at age 83. Mary was survived by her children, Mary Francis Archer Goodwin, Frederick L B Goodwin, John Frank Goodwin, Sarah Anderson Goodwin, Robert Archer Goodwin, Ella Rosa Goodwin, Edward LeBaron Goodwin.1

She was listed as Julia A. Bailey, age 15, born in Virginia.1

Julia Ann Tucker Bailey married William J Wilborne on 28 October 1855. Her married name was Julia Ann Tucker Bailey Wilborne. Julia Ann Tucker Bailey appeared on the 1860 census on 23 August 1860 in the household of William J Wilborne at Sussex County, Virginia.2

Sarah Williamson Bailey was born on 25 July 1840. She was the daughter of Jonathan Bailey and Sarah Williamson Tucker.

Indianna Charlotte Bailey, Richard Thomas Bailey, Julia Ann Tucker Bailey, Luther Rice Bailey, Sarah Williamson Bailey, Adeline Green Bailey and Williamson S. Clanton appeared in the 1850 census on 1 June 1850 as a household member living with Sarah Williamson Tucker Bailey at Sussex County, Virginia. The official date for this census was 01 June 1850. She was listed as Sarah W. Bailey, age 9, born in Virginia.1

Sarah Williamson Tucker, Sarah Williamson Bailey and Adeline Green Bailey appeared in the 1860 census on 22 August 1860 as a household member living with Richard Thomas Bailey at Sussex County, Virginia. The official date for this census was 01 June 1860. She was listed as Sally W. Bailey, age 18, born in Virginia.2 As of 27 November 1867, her married name was Robinson.

Sarah Williamson Bailey married Richard Robinson on 27 November 1867.

Sarah Williamson Bailey died in 1871.

She was 22 when she first married.3
